Bringing uniforms to life: introducing our 3D Design Room

At Uniformity, we believe design is about more than just aesthetics – it’s there to solve real-world challenges for the people who wear garments made by us every day. Whether it’s aged care staff needing comfort and practicality, or a corporate team wanting to achieve a polished look and brand consistency, we know that the right uniform can make a huge difference. That’s why we’re proud to launch an innovation that brings ideas to life like never before – introducing Uniformity’s 3D Design Room.

What is our 3D Design Room?

Powered by CLO software, our 3D Design Room enables our team to digitally create and simulate your uniform designs in real time. No sketches, no guesswork – just highly realistic digital garments that our clients can see, adjust and approve before a single physical sample is made.

From fabric drape and colour combinations to pocket placement and branding, our 3D Design Room allows you to see exactly how your uniforms will look in motion on a digital avatar.

So how does it work?

Our team utilises CLO to design and build each garment virtually from the ground up. This includes:

• Creating patterns from scratch
• Customising colourways and trims
• Adding logos and other branding elements
• Simulating fit, movement and layering
• Visualising garments on different body types and skin tones

Working in collaboration with our clients, we can mix and match pieces, test different fabric finishes and see the full uniform set come together – all before production begins.

The benefits to you

For organisations looking to roll out custom uniforms with confidence, the Uniformity 3D Design Room offers:

• Faster decision-making: Visualise everything up front to speed up approvals
• Reduced sampling rounds: Save time by avoiding unnecessary physical prototypes
• Greater design input: Make instant changes based on live feedback
• Enhanced clarity: Support decision-makers in the organisation with a clearer, more tangible view of their design choices, making it easier to visualise concepts and explore creative options with confidence.

In short: our 3D Design Room makes the uniform design process easier, faster and more collaborative.

Looking ahead

As we continue to integrate this technology across more client projects, we’re seeing just how powerful our 3D Design Room can be, not only for design accuracy but also for enabling our clients and their teams to make smarter and faster decisions with certainty and confidence.

At Uniformity, innovation is never just about the latest technological tool – it’s about delivering better outcomes for our clients and the people who wear our uniforms. And so our 3D Design Room is just one more way that we’re continuing to stay true to that commitment.
